Liquid-cooled power resistors enable the highest power densities with minimal space requirements. The heat is efficiently dissipated through a cooling medium, ensuring a stable and low operating temperature even at very high power losses.
Liquid-cooled power resistors are the ideal solution for applications with very high continuous or pulse power, where air-cooled systems reach their limits. Liquid cooling provides an especially efficient form of heat dissipation and is optimally suited for compact systems with high power density.
The resulting power loss is almost entirely absorbed by the cooling medium and discharged in a controlled manner, thereby reliably maintaining the resistor's temperature at a low level. Only a small portion of the heat is emitted through the housing surface.
Typical areas of application include drive technology, energy technology, and testing systems, where high thermal loads must be managed while space is limited.
