Sustainability
and
Compliance

Showing responsibility.

We are already producing resistor solutions for the technologies of the future - for electromobility, energy technology and many other industrial applications. Sustainability is not a trend, but part of our identity.

Shaping the future.

As early as 1987, we stated in our ‘Principles and Objectives of the KRAH Group’ that economic success and social responsibility are inextricably linked. Today, we put this self-image into practice through active climate protection, responsible corporate governance and binding compliance structures.

Sustainability and CO2 reduction at KRAH:
responsibility for the future

Windräder im Sonnenaufgang

1. objective: climate neutrality by 2045

Our company has set itself the ambitious goal of becoming climate neutral by 2045. To achieve this, we are focussing on innovative technologies in production and close cooperation with our suppliers. By reducing our carbon footprint, we are strengthening our position as a responsible partner to the automotive and mechanical engineering industries.

  • Scope 1 includes direct emissions from company-owned sources such as heating systems and vehicles.
  • Scope 2 relates to indirect emissions from purchased energy, in particular electricity.
  • Scope 3 includes all other indirect emissions, e.g. from purchased materials and services.

2. sustainability reporting and adaptation to climate change

As part of our sustainability strategy, we fulfil the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). In doing so, we are focussing on adapting to climate change and promoting climate protection measures. These measures not only secure our competitiveness, but also contribute to the creation of sustainable jobs in automation and energy technology. Our reporting shows transparently how we fulfil our obligations in the area of environmental management and sustainable development.

Integrity as the basis of our actions

Responsible and law-abiding behaviour is not an option for us, but a matter of course. In our Code of Conduct, we have laid down clear rules for fair, legally compliant and ethically correct behaviour - for all employees and business partners. We take reports of possible violations seriously, investigate them in a structured manner and create transparency in dealing with misconduct. Violations can be reported via our compliance officer - online, confidentially and securely.
