Aluminium housing

Special features: Encapsulated resistors are extremely pulse-resistant, have a high voltage rating, and have a protection class of up to IP65

Due to their special design, all our power resistors, with the exception of the WD series, are housed in aluminum or metal enclosures, making them particularly pulse-resistant and offering high voltage resistance. To further increase the nominal power, forced cooling can optionally be applied, or direct mounting on cooling plates or heat sinks can be performed. The compact designs and the respective enclosure geometries facilitate the attachment and assembly of the resistors in their application. Full encapsulation, combined with a connection lead, guarantees protection against accidental contact with live parts.

Options: UL certification, intrinsically safe, LabS-free, assembly – also with UL certification, temperature switch, pre-assembled units
